I attended The University of Wisconsin Milwaukee for a degree in Early Childhood Education with a minor in English as a second language. I started my teaching career in Catholic schools in Milwaukee at Mary Queen of Saints Catholic Academy where I taught first grade for one year and third grade for 3 years. Teaching 3 and 4 Kindergarten was a welcomed change of pace when I started at SMS but I was excited to return to 3rd grade as it holds such a special place in my heart!
