I am originally from Omaha, NE and came to Milwaukee to attend Marquette University where I studied Journalism. I earned both my Masters in Library Science and a School Library Media certification from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

I have worked in both the public and academic library settings, and enjoyed being a bridge between SMS and the Whitefish Bay Public Library. My hope is to instill a love of reading and a curiosity for learning that will help our students successfully navigate the world around them.

I am a SMS parent alum, Beta Phi Mu member, Phi Kappa Phi member, and Daughters of the American Revolution member.
